Use.

NS-Loggers are series of dataloggers, which have been developed to meet the increase in demands for
collection of data, both as documentation for the public authorities, but also to control own quality standards.
Not only can the NS-Loggers be used for control of temperatures in coldstorage rooms and freezers,
several other types of sensors can also be connected to the sensors.

The NS-Loggers can be used separately as normal dataloggers that can be connected to a PC for
downloading collected data, or the dataloggers can be used several at the same time (up to 25) joined
in a network constantly connected to a PC.

The dataloggers can separately or joined in a network be
connected to a standard modem, so that programming as
well as downloading data can be done remote controlled
using the telephone line.

The NS Logger system is an inexpensive system, which can be
expanded without any great expenses, and still it is capable of
matching even far more expensive data surveillance systems.

Hardware.

All NS-Loggers are built into a sturdy plastic cabinet and they all have built-in temperature sensors.

All NS-Loggers are powered by an internal lithium battery, with a lifespan
of approximately 5 years. (joined in a network) or approximately 10 years,
if the datalogger is used without being connected to a PC.

The NS-Logger has a resolution of 8 bit, and the memory can contain
approximately 11000 sets of measurings. This applies to 1 as well
as 2 channel models.

Software.

The software is Windows based and very easy to operate.
The communication takes place in a part of the program, where the
NS-Logger is programmed, and where the collected data is loaded.
A special routine shows on-line, with updating every 5 seconds,
the current values for the connected sensors.
The routine is particularly useful as a control when configuring
the external sensors.
In this part of the program the different NS modules are named if
these are used in a network.

Analysis and print-out of the collected data is done in the graphical
part of the PC program. Here it is possible to observe the data
graphically, or in table form.

A "Zoom"-function as well as the possibility of changing the Y-axis
makes it easy to closely analyse the data as well as making it possible
only to print out the requested parts of the collected data.
