Multicon is a PC based unit, which has been developed to solve
problems with data-collection
and registration, within the industrial area.
The unit, which requires constant connection with a PC, is capable of
connecting 32 analogue inputs
and can be delivered with as much as 32 relay outputs.
Multicon can be delivered as a separate print card for installing on a
DIN rail or completely assembled
in a cabinet with power supply andinput module with 32 inputs. If relay outputs are desired, modules with
16 or 32 relay outputs can be directly connected through a multi-cable.
The unit is connected to the
PC through an interface, which galvanic separates PC and Multicon.
2 Multicon units can be connected and used by the same PC.
Multicon can, besides from being used for data collection and registration, also, at the same
time, be used forcontrolling different systems and processes in the industrial area.
Possibility for calculations on the analogue inputs makes it possible
to adapt to all types of sensors,
and several can also be supplied with power directly from the built-in power supply.
If a relay output module is used, this can control up to 32 different
functions, as a function of the inputs,
calculations on the inputs or the time.
At the same time as Multicon supervises and controls functions, all
the data is stored in files for later analysis.
With Multicon comes an advanced PC program which can be used in
Window 95 ? 98 ? NT or XP.
The program is made so that the user can make his own background
(picture or drawing) on which the
values for the inputs or status for the outputs can be shown on the screen.
Functions buttons can be placed on the background for starting or closing processes.
Uservariables placed on the background allows the user to change setpoints while in work.
Setpoints for alarms, where alarm texts appear on the screen.
The PC program also has an advanced analysing program, where collected data can be analysed
or printed in curve or table form.
Automatic printing of alarm texts with times for alarm in/out.
Multicon can be delivered as a print card installed on a DIN rail plate for OEM customers, or completely
assembled in a cabinet with 16 or 32 inputs and 0, 16 or 32 relay outputs.
The unit can be connected to a telephone modem, which automatically will send a SMS message to
a celluar phone, in case of the keyed in boundary values being crossed.
